A shared log
Carbs, insulin and fingersticks, logged by whoever did it. Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate.
GlucoGuard is for the parents, partners, grandparents and carers who follow someone’s Dexcom. The reading fills the screen in its own colour, alerts reach everyone who needs them, and the family shares one log.
The whole screen takes the colour of the latest reading, so a glance from the sofa is enough. Lows are warm, highs are violet and in range is teal. Every state also has its own word and icon, so it works for colour-blind eyes too. Tap a colour to see it.
It sounds through silent mode and Focus, on every phone that follows. No pause, setting or lapsed plan can switch it off. You press and hold to acknowledge, so a pocket or a pillow can’t do it for you, and everyone else sees who’s on it.
Everything else is quieter. Each follower picks their own alert levels, and a grandparent can hear about lows only while a parent hears it all.
Invite people with a one-time code. Following is free for everyone you invite, and you can follow more than one person from the same app.
Carbs, insulin and fingersticks, logged by whoever did it. Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate.
See how long each device has left, get a reminder before it runs out, and keep track of wear sites.
Widgets, lock screen and a live reading while it matters. Same colours, same words.
Readings come from Dexcom. Everything else is logged by people, and anything estimated says so.
One card at a time, and only when something needs doing. Optional details never raise reminders.
Every reading is kept for as long as you have an account. Download it or delete it whenever you like.
GlucoGuard is coming to iPhone and Android. Following is free. Plans for the person who sets things up start with a free week.
